The Hidalgos - The Kings Children, Vol. III

The Hidalgos  - The Kings Children, Vol. III -

Hidalgos literally means, the children of the king that he sent forth to settle his lands.  This he did.  He sent hundreds to East Texas directly from Spain and from Mexico.  Many descendants still live in that area until this day.  Just completed, a book on the first families of Texas - the pioneer Spanish citizens who were sent there by their king.  They began to permanently settle in East Texas in 1693, when four Spanish soldiers elected to stay with the Tejas Indians and produced offspring, before there were any towns, missions, Spanish soldiers, houses, civilians, women or children.   This act began the Creole population (part Indian) that would grow to become the second in number.  Then as the population grew, it shows their entertainment, ranching, smuggling, their daily lives, and what they gave that is still enjoyed today.  Very interesting to see how Texas developed. Took six years to write.  Could be a best seller.  Carefully footnoted for explanations and for researchers.  The only book ever written on this subject.  A must for all history lovers and researchers.  Postage free.  One volume -- $37.50.

The three-volume set ~ $90.00.
