EARLY MAPS SHOWING EAST TEXAS - 

Texas is a special place with a unique history and maps make its past come alive.  They show the first roads and trails of Texas, its first villages, forts, land grants, Spanish missions, location of native Indian tribes and villages and much more.  Showing all of these is Stephen F. Austin's re-drawn map of 1882.

Stephen F. Austin's Map (1837) - Austin's original was  published in 1836 plus color, beautifully drawn and is a large 31.5 x 24.9 inches.  $35.00 plus $8.00 shipping and handling. 

 

The next period was The Republic of Texas (1837).  Published in Galveston, it shows rivers, creeks, lakes, mountains, towns, roads, Indian tribes, and much more.  One can spend hours with their magnifying glass.          $35.00 plus $8.00 shipping and handling.

Jacob De Cordova Map (1849)  -  Shows Texas before its state boundaries were established expanding Texas into New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming.  Towns, forts, roads, post offices and Indian villages are just some of its features.  $35.00 plus $8.00 shipping and handling.
